Man I remember I got this game around Christmas I think in 89? I spent alot of time playing it! That water level brings back memories of frustration!

angry nintendo nerd produced a great review of this game. I remember disliking the game entirely. The arcade version of the game that came after was amazing though. =)

I think one of the things that I enjoyed from the game was driving the van thing. The stupid water level thing is also what caused several headaches.

They really need to bring back TMNT and recreate the van. The design of toys like that and the zords from Power Rangers were fun and interesting. I've always liked toys that you can switch/combine/etc. Nowadays, there's no changing of anything. for toys like that you can open the doors or hood and that's it.
Centurions and Zoids are some of my favorite cartoons ever for that reason. |
