yay? Sure it's not related to the gfx end as well? Maybe a combination? I can see how the tips being gone might affect it though.
I don't know. It's odd. It was the same volume before I cut the tips off, when they went through the GFX. Maybe because now the exhaust lets out under the trunk more, creating more of a reverb?

It's definitely louder. I don't mind though
