Funny thing I noticed about my car

I love my car to death, I treat it like I would my own child, it's never dirty, always has a full tank of gas, any time it requires maintenance that I am not motivated to do, I bring it to the dealership, so I'm in no way complaining about it.

Anyway, I'm a single, 23 year old male, average looking, athletic build, fairly confident, but I'm not really a ladies man. I bought the car after I got out of a 5 year relationship, my first thought is, this car is gonna get me some chicks...

But now, and I'm in no way complaining, I figured I should mention that again, I'm noticing that I get much more attention when I'm not driving my car, or being seen in it, I've had women yell out "I love your car", but seem to get negative reactions to those who I approach in public if they see me with the car..

Perhaps I'm thinking too deeply into this, but I believe the car is acting as a .. Block of some type, does any one else notice this, or am I crazy?

Oh yea, it's an inferno orange SS2, 6 speed, no mufflers, with white hockey sticks down the sides.

Most likely, I do have my priorities in order, starting with... The car...

Perhaps, but I rarely speed, unless on a county road, alone.. I do take curvy roads faster than the suggested speed, though.

Perhaps, most of my friends would probably say something similar, anyway.

The only way a Camaro can be a **** block is with those annoying as girls who like loud ass trucks. The ones that are all annoying noise and no power. 0-30 in 15 seconds

I can't elaborate on your situation completely because I've been with my gf longer than I've had my car.

HOWEVER, I have gotten a lot more "Can I drive your car" inquires since I got the Camaro from women than when I had my modified pick up truck.

So you bought a car to pick-up chicks and it somehow isn't working out for ya, huh? Shocking.

A car is a car. A Ferrari or a Geo Prism, its still a big hunk of metal with wheels. Women aren't animals that are lured in by some BS external factor. They aren't going to come flocking to you just cuz you have a cool car.

Do you buy Axe body spray too cuz of the commercials?

There was a guy at the car show I went to on Friday that had a sign on his car with his name, the type and model of his vehicle, his phone number, and the last line said "Status: Single". I had to get a picture of it, pure gold. Ironically, most people steered well clear of this guy at this show. Especially the women.

Just be you and don't worry about external nonsense. Your self-assesement of "fairly confident" might not be accurate if you are trying to get women's attention with a car and you make a post wondering why it's not working.

Sorry for the brutal honesty.
