During the day today the Pilot station here went from 2.98 to 2.89 for regular 87.

$2.99 here but I don't watch this stuff, I just don't care about a few cents up and down honestly. I am not that price sensitive.

Also for those that do not know, gas and oil prices are not connected. Not in the way you think. Buyers buy oil in large quantities at certain points not by the barrel on a per day basis. Also gas prices fluctuate based on the capacity to refine the oil into gas. When gas and oil companies shutdown refineries, prices go up. When they slow production, gas prices go up. They do this purposefully to get the cash they need to pay their costs and control the cost of doing business. Regulation and energy (electricity) costs and demand for gas effect the prices of gas more than oil does.
