And you people were knocking Ford for not having any performance vehicles? Can't wait for a TC DI-I4 to pop up in some more of GM's small cars and maybe a variant of the 'beloved' DI-V6 in TT form for something like..say, the Orlando and the SRX?

Next thing you know every damn domestic car will have factory drag/track possibilities. Eat it, Greenies.
Thought this deserved it's own thread on the subject of my comment. Discuss the possibilities, boys and girls. Trackday..may be much more interesting.

Actually, the man has a point. For all the premature guff the Ecoboost concept has taken the cars that pack them under the hood, by all appearances, really move. The upcoming 2.5L Ecoboost four cylinder models should make for some very interesting times in cars like the Fusion and small suv's like the Escape. Ford looks prepped to have a slew of high to mid 13 second vehicles that aren't even tagged as performance cars.

1.4 liter turbos are on the horizon, as well as NA 1.4s and 1.6s generating power for electrics- I'm pretty sure there is no reason to be concerned about every car being a track car. Well I take that back, I've seen VW Buses at Firebird pulling low 20's. So yes, I agree, everything is a track vehicle.
