When I tell people my workouts (mainly lady friends) they think I am over training and I believe my body would let me know if that was the case!! lol I mean....Why do I feel so great after I workout?!!

You can usually tell when you overtrain sometimes it's as suttle as a stop in fat loss, or a plateu in training or it can hit you like a ton of bricks but there is always a symptom.

I'm surprised that the "I don't want big bulky muscles so I don't lift heavy weights" one wasn't there, like that's easy to do LOL

Bonnie, I get that alot from my friends, oh youre withering away, youre too skinny, you spend too much time working out, live alittle. *facepalm* Its annoying. If I was too thin or unhealthy I would know {and my mother would be the first one to point a finger hahah - she ran so much in college she had a hard time conceiving}

Wellllllll there are a couple things on there that are not really "the whole truth" in my opinion. Like this one:

Narrow grip t-bars work my inner back

I tentatively agree... although how wide your grip is definitely affects which muscle is doing most of the work (very wide grip involves much more of your lat and etc)

I personally think the "muscle turning to fat" is the funniest one. I can't tell you how many prior lifters (now fatties) have told me that. "Nah, I quit working out and it all turned to fat". Then they look confused when I say "Nah, you quit working out but kept eating the same amount of food"

I have this argument with my brother in law all the time. I tell him your muscles may shrink and get covered by a layer of fat, just like your abs, but he insists it changes to fat, I think he does it to piss me off

I've got a bit of insomnia tonight so I'm stopping in to say hello.

Crosfit Tues kicked my butt...we did a workout for metcon called "Jackie". That was intersting. I did it in 10:19 but wanna get it down to 8:xx. Conditioning needs work.

Time to turn it up a notch.

Badgbunny, don't be mad when I steal you from your bo at the TX mile LOL j/k but not really seriously. hahaha

Goober! TX Mile is getting close!

Well I was going to go give Crossfit a try this week but I think I may wait for a cooler week. Its like 105 here with a heat index in the 120s, and our local box - like most - doesn't have ac. I rarely workout outside because I'm heat intolerant = headaches, low blood sugar, nausea... Fun stuff. That or I may try to get up and go to an early class, there is one tomorrow at 6:30 - then I could go home and go back to sleep hahaha.

Yep, it was 94° in our crossfit gym Tues and after the metcon I was pretty nauseous and almost puked. I like it though...let's me know I gave 110%.

Going back for more tonight

Here's the posted workout:

LIFT: Press (3-3-3+)

MetCon:
3 Rounds
20 Back Squats (135/95#)
20 Pull-Ups

I'd rather not puke. And since my closest box is 25 minutes from home, I'd like to be able to drive home after my workout hahaha.

I don't know why they call it a box??? Mine's 30 minutes from the house but 10 minutes from the office. I just have to bring a beech towel to cover my seat with so I don't sweat all over it on the way home.

The jump rope is my nemesis, so I get there 30 minutes early and jump rope for a half hour to practice. I'm fine with the normal stuff, but I'm having trouble with the timing on double unders. Gotta work on those.

I don't know why either. I'll need to remember to bring a towel for when I go lol. I like jump roping but I haven't tried double unders, I hear alot of people have problems with those.

Well don't do like I did and gain a few pounds from eating healthy food,
that's like getting a speeding ticket when you've only gone 5 over! LOL
