I heard installing HUD on a Camaro is a HUGE pain. I heard that they have to take the whole dash apart, messing with the wiring and controls, and replace the windshield.

4th gens always did the badging better. Little tramp stamp and the tricolor badge on the nose for Camaros, and the Screaming Chicken logo on the rear filler panel between the tail lights for Firebirds.

Interiors still sucked and were cheap but can't beat 304rwhp stock with a 3400lb car.

Mine's easy because it is an '11 and already has the wiring harness. Just gotta cut a hole in the dash and fit it.

But I'm not certain I'll do it yet. It's just on the list of possible mods. Also you don't have to replace the windshield; it works just fine on a normal windshield with Ofer's setup

If I could have gotten the 2LT it'd have come standard with the HUD. Damn GM for having IBM on constraint.

At least I've gotten to mod the hell out of my 1LT. It's funny how some people think I'm such a moron for giving up all the upgrades for my color, but it was worth it... and it's been fun making it my own.
