i have an ls3, and i have no issues with traffic. doesn't bother me to shift constantly, sometimes.

i would practice stopping and starting on a hill, if you haven't.

Also, for the drag strip, just take off normal for your first few times. No need to worry about launching correctly your first time out. Just to get the butterflies/jitters out.

I killed my LS3 on the test drive.......... but thats the only time, brand new clutch picks up like a mofo

I don't mind shifting myself. Plus it's a workout of some kind, right? But I just worry if I'll get tired of it after a while (new-ness wears off).

I have myself on a list for the host hotel if they get cancelations - but I'll still call if anyone cancels that anyone knows of and see if I can get that room ASAP. LOL
