Why can't camaro5 image urls be attached?

So I can go to a website, right click, and then click copy image url. When I post in a thread, I can go to the paperclick button and then copy that url into the upload file from url section.

This works everywhere I've tried, except for pictures posted on this forum. Why doesn't this work?

Cool! It worked!

Still wondering why it won't work the way I first posted though?

The paperclip is for posting up files (could be images, or a number of other types) that are stored on your own computer

Yeah but if you go to paperclip, and then the section that says upload file from url, you can use it from any website.

For example here is a picture that I just googled:

I used http://www.inquisitr.com/wp-content/...lara_croft.jpg in the paperclip as mentioned above

Ah ... well in that case ...

In nearly 5 years on this site, I have never even noticed the 'upload from URL' part of the paperclip function
