Yep. The easiest way i found was to layer up on the 3m tape but that would look tacky.

idea, find a semi-thin black plastic shim, cut it to the shape of the badge, and sand it down to have a crease, like the trunk. glue the badge onto the shim, glue badge to trunk.

not sure what the badge you are talking about, looks like, so it might not be an easy task. lol just a thought.
