that's one of many. many documentaries like zeitgeist addendum, inside job and others thoroughly document the theft of american resources and money via wall street.

yeah, you can invest. yeah, you can play your cards and make some money, sometimes a lot of money. would i recommend someone putting their money at risk in such a volatile environment that is doomed and on the brink of a 2nd great depression? no way.
- not getting into it... you keep making your .05% interest with the money in your savings account, I'll keep doing what I'm doing and answering the OP's question - Yes, you CAN make some good side money in the markets if you know what you're doing.

Who said I keep my money in a savings account? You can do what you want. When you lose all of your investments along with all the other gullible investors...don't come cryin'.

Cool. Which platform do you use?
Any particular pattern that you watch? I always open for gaps.

There's a REASON the dollar has lost 98% of it's value since 1913... and people who invest in wall street perpetuate this completely broken system.

I'd recommend selling drugs before I'd recommend investing in wall street.
While I agree that wallstreet is very hard to win in, it is possible, but i do not have the time/effort/ resources to commit to learning current market trends.

This is always a viable option. Need to find out some of the trends in my area and may proceed with this.

This is really funny, I can not tell you how many "friends" more like bar Friends that I know in a different city that have gone 100% legit after making about 50k to 100K in drug money. They are all my age and now have legitimate business due to it.

There are endless ways to make extra money and what works for one person may not work for another. I have a full time job in sales with a good salary plus bonus. I also have another job where I make $50 per meeting I attend that is usually evenings. Also I work on cars, boats, give wakeboarding lessons, and do heavy equipment repair. If there is anything you can do or are good at, start with that. You would be surprised at all the small things you could do to add supplemental income. I have 2 friends who mow yards and banks owned properties on the side and they make a good bit with that.

I work at Lowe's for my part time job. Even as a part timer, I have access to all the benefits, which include a 401K and a stock purchase plan. It's a great place to work.
