i'm asian, i think i know what i'm talking about. lol teppenyaki is traditionally cooked on a flat iron grill with propane. hibachi is normally a grate type of grill used with coal or gas flame.


i know teppenyaki is the style of food, but it's really not teppenyaki if it's not cooked on a flat iron grill. at least that's the way i've always known it.
