Brian Banks tries out for Seahawks

This guy is such a stand up guy regarding what happened to him, that you can't help but hope he makes the Seahawks.

He's doing Mini-Camp with the Seahawks now. Can only keep rooting for him to make it. This is one of those cases where I'd almost be willing to give the 45th spot to him just to have him on the team, even if he isn't quite as good as he needs to be.

If he's in shape, I think he'll make it. I guess he was heavily recruited by Pete Carroll (for USC) when Banks was in HS. My bet is that Pete is pulling for him to make it, and he's got a little bit of influence...

It just occurred to me that he could also go back to college. He probably still has the ability to play at that level, and he gets an education for free. What's not to like about that?

I'd bet he's keeping that in mind if the NFL doesn't pan out - $$$$ in pros wins out over free education, I'm sure

Although, I wonder if he's getting any money from being wrongfully accused. The gal that lied sued the school district for not "protecting her" and got nearly $2 million. Now we find out it was a lie, what happened to that 2 mil???
