I would say that's a fair assessment, OP. Would you like some cake?

Said it before will say it again, the VAST majority of Camaro owners walk 10 feet from their car and they are neither cool or bad ass... but they think they are because of what they drive.

Because I like to stir the pot...

1) Who makes the cool/badass determination?
2) Are YOU cool/badass upon reaching the 10 foot zone?
3) If the determination is made that said person is NOT cool/badass, what does that make them, and who makes THAT determination?

The moderators try to set a standard to where, you won't be able to read anything Low class or controversial anywhere on this site.

Yes, it will impede on "self-expression" very often. But they don't have any choice.

It's like this is their "home" and the door is only open to people who want to contribute in a tasteful manner.

By doing this, it encourages more people to stay, and it also encourages the bad apples to leave and go back to the "lower" standard type of forums where it's a free-for-all.

1. Jealous people who can't seem to grasp the thought of congratulating someone on their new car, even if dad/mom got it for them.
2. Uptight people who don't want anyone looking at their car the wrong way, playing a joke on them, or voicing their opinion (after op asked for it) for absolute fear the end of the world will be brought upon them and their car.
3. Overtly politically correct people who can't take a joke, statement, or basically any other idea that is other than their own with a chuckle and would rather bash the op into the ground or yell "racist" for what they perceived the comment to mean.

That being said, there is also the greater majority who can take it as they dish it, don't get offended much, and do give grats when new members join regardless of situations, and for them I say thank you and I enjoy your humor and friendliness quite a bit, especially the sarcastic, non PC posts. Everyone else needs to put on their "man pants" and GTFO.
I can agree with numbers 1&2. problem I have with 3. is I know exactly what thread you're referring too and it got deleted for a reason. and not because some posted "racism!". it got deleted because it was. tons of people post useless stories on here every day. was it really necessary to bring up race and call them "habib" and whatnot? why? what's the purpose behind that other than to be racist? rule would be the same for anyone who started a thread about how "paco" or "billybob" or whoever ruined their day.
as for your last statement. you seem to forget the certain people on here who can dish it out daily and twice on Sunday but can't take any in return. as if they have some special rights and deserve to be treated some special way.

That would be me

Cool is helping a little old lady cross the street.
Uncool is laughing at her trying to cross the street.

Cool is lifting others up when they're down.
Uncool is kicking them when they're down.

Cool is helping your little brother with his homework.
Uncool is laughing at him when he gets a bad grade.

Badass is reserved for Chuck Norris. If you're not Chuck Norris, you're NOT a badass.

Steven Seagall is a "almost badass", if he reads this, and wants to change his status, he'll have to ask Chuck.
