Most places now just have a set number of days that work as both -- here, we get 6 sick days, but (as they tell us) we are "not entitled" to them -- meaning if you aren't sick, you don't get to use them

So instead of having an extra 6 vaca days to schedule and be nice - people just call out. But hey - who's gonna waste vaca time?

It happens when you want it too - took me a long time to get ANY motivation and then this passed year I've gotten WAY harder on myself so...
Eventually you just make the change when it's time

Well my kitchen was recently destroyed by lack of maint on my apt complexes part... so... i have to clean that up before i buy any food and cook for myself... which i hate doing.....

I love cooking. Like seriously looked into cullinary schools when I was younger but it just didn't pay enough. Now I am excited to use my new bradley smoker when I get home.
