Need help on my dads choice of suv

I didnt know what thread to post in but anyway here what I need some advice on. My dad just purchased my camaro a few months backfor me now he is looking for a new SUV. He wants good gas mileage . He finds all of Chevys trucks horrible looking except for the Tahoe. So the Tahoe is a choice. Also he interested in the dodge Durango the 5.7 one. And finally the jeep grand Cherokee . He wants something in the range between 40000 to 45k. Anything similar he may like, also does anyone own any of these trucks, some input would be greatly appreciated thank yo.

well if he is actually looking at a SUV and not a truck.....and he's looking in the price range.....my suggestion would be to be looking at the Buick Enclave or Caddy SRX.

I second the Enclave. My family car is the 2011 enclave and we love it. Quiet, smooth and looks nice. The 2013 enclave coming out has some changes that looks good.

My mom had an 07 Tahoe that was a really good car with the best gas mileage in its class. She liked it so much that she bought a 2011 last year if that tells you anything.

We love our Acadia Denali (very similar to the Enclave)... good combo of size and comfort. I have a buddy with the SRX and it is real nice as well, but a tad smaller.

I would say a Trailblazer SS, but they stopped making them. My father had a 2006. It was an awesome truck.

That is great that he is looking for a bigger vehicle. The Buick Enclave is a sleek vehicle. The 2012 Enclave is proof that a bigger SUV doesn’t have to spell trouble at the pump. In fact, this finely-tuned machine uses an intricate powertrain system to achieve better highway fuel economy than most other eight-passenger crossovers — an EPA-estimated 24 MPG hwy for the FWD model.

For more information you can check out http://www.buick.com/enclave-luxury-crossover-suv.html for more information.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
