A tikka T3 is what I would recommend, its 500-650$ has some really nice fetures and a sako barrel. It will shoot better than most people can shoot one.

If you reload just have a 6 RAT or 6AR built for your lower,if not look at a GAP in a 6.5 creedmore since they have some very good factory ammo options.

My best friend wants to sell me his Browning X-Bolt in .308 because he want's to upgrade....to .338! I would get the rifle, the super nice scope mounts, and maybe a gun bag, plus any leftover ammo. IDK if I want to pick it up or wait and buy a standard Xbolt Stalker with the composite stock. I kind of like it more.

Its a sig sauer 1911R-45-tacops. They make a simialr "tacpac" model that is a little cheaper, but I wanted the ambi safety etc. This one comes with 4 mags too, hopefully shooting soon. (I have 11.5 yards of rock sitting in the driveway now for a landscaping project though.... FML.
