Ill Have all of that installed in stages.. Geez guise. I may be driving a Mustang come December, but it doesn't mean I don't love the Camaro (I'd love to have one if I could). I just can't afford it now unlike the Mustang.

I just need V8 Fury.. and if I can get it easier with the 302, I really don't mind. And gtahvit; that was before a few things changed in my life, and I'm pinching pennies..

And ALOT of pennies got pinched with the Z-Plan. That's what converted me.. It was all about the money, boys. Now Dec IS 6 months away.. so if the "Camaro Inquisiton" feels the need to come out in droves and give me a damn good reason (that I haven't heard already) to choose it over the Mustang GT.. I'm all ears.

I'm not even sure what to say at this point. The mustang is decent, but there are sure a lot of people here on this CAMARO site who can't decide what car they like.
Are you sure when you order it with the new 5.0 it's going to cost the same as that 26k?

I was at the dealership for over an hour talking, Brondes and Kistler (remember them too?) are like family to us and aside from shootin' the shit we talked Mustang and what it offered. I was Camaro.. He was Mustang. Weighed the options and in the end price was the clincher.

Now if the Camaro wasn't at the premium that it was in the V8 1SS form that I wanted; I'd pick it. But as I said I'm nickel and diming at this point and I also said that there are 5-6 months for the Alliance here to wrench my arse out of the Mushtang seat and back into a Camaro. For me being a college grad and wanting to move on from the Explorer; the Mustang was the choice due to trade in and the like. Especially with the records I've kept on the truck. Gm wouldn't have access to those. (I was looking at 3K vs 8K on trade.. Yeah.)

Still love the Camaro more, mind you (that's right) because Chevy built the car of the next 2 decades with that one. Price wise, however, I love the Mustang more. I get more bang for my buck at this point; but who said that in 4 years I'll put some pennies down on a used 1ss and enjoy both sides of the fence in a badass stable of Muscle Doomage? Find a dirt cheap R/T Chally and then you can call me "Mr. Objective"

I test drove a 2010 Mustang GT. Base car, stripper everything. And.. I absolutely loved it. It didn't fit me as well as the Camaro, but in my opinion I feel as if I cannot have found a better car for my current situtation. After crunching the numbers, and finding that for me a Base GT came out to be:

$26550.90 MSRP

I must post this to complete the fall to the Sith.

NOTE THAT I DID NOT BUY THE CAR..yet..

These were the vehicles I tested/priced:

#1
2010 GT Coup DELX N
4.6L3V OHC V8 Engine
5 Speed Automatic Transmission (995.00)
Candy Apple Red Metallic (300.00)
Charcoal Cloth
Rapid Spec 300A
3.31 MPG Gearing
V+OP= $28,490
Delivery & Destination (850.00)
Total MSRP = 30,140.00

My Price:

Z-Plan Pricing for Retirees: 27,350.90

#2

2010 GT Coup DELX N
4.6L3V OHC V8 Engine
5 Speed Manual Transmission
Grabber Blue w/ Hood-Roof-Deck Stripe
Charcoal Cloth
Rapid Spec 300A
3.73 Rear Axle Package (495.00)
V+OP= $28,490
Delivery & Destination (850.00)
Total MSRP = 29,340.00

My Price:

Z-Plan Pricing for Retirees: 26,550.90

The Camaro 2LT I tested: 29,670.00
As a 1LT: 26,575.00

3.73 rear and a 4.6 Mod V8. You get what you pay for. :/

Pics cause it DID happen: Recognize the Truck?
