All these cars are cool. For sure, i'll buy a Camaro but unsure if I want the 1LE, ZL1 or hopefully the Z28. I gotta admit, the GT500 is an awesome car and beating the ZL1 in horsepower and straight line performance. I'm still waiting for road course time comparisons from the GT500. Either way...it's a Camaro for me. Love the muscle car wars. Come on Dodge...whatcha got.

It's broke in enough. Roughly 360 miles, but definitely no high speed runs.

She's made her way to 100 and redline a handful of times, but nothing wild yet.

I'm still learning a feel for the car.

Does anyone know what's causing the higher drivetrain losses on the ZL1. The Shelby seems to consistently put a good bit more power to the ground from the tests I've seen. I've seen guys claim as high as 613rwhp with the Shelby. That Shelby exhaust note is nasty!

SRA vs IRS, carbon 1-piece driveshaft, lighter wheels/tires, and possibly some lighter weight drivetrain components not mentioned.

Hmm seems like more than an edge to me. If my interpreting their numbers correctly the Shelby has less drivetrain loss.

I really like the fact that you can moniter AFR and IAT's on the DIC. Its like Ford asked people who mod their cars what they would like on the new GT500 and then Ford delivered. More displacement, check. TVS 2.3 supercharger, check. Twin disk clutch, check. One piece carbon fiber driveshaft, check. A SRA rear end that can handle 800RWHP, check. Only area I give the car a "F" in is no auto option and small rear tires. Everything else is very well thought out.
