From a former Sailor/Operations Specialist First Class (Enlisted Surface Warfare) who Retired with 21 years, 7 months, and 16 days back in January 31, 1997, plus I had about 2 months Terminal leave and house/job hunting time. Congrats and Enjoy the Retirement Gunny. My younger son was in the Corps for 4 years. I would suggest growing that Beard Gunny, that is the First thing I did. For my second career, I went after my B.S. and Masters Dgree, along with a Teaching Credential. So Gunny s is said in the Navy, "Fair Winds and Following Seas."

Well Brother I am happy for you. Plenty of hard work over those years and some blood, sweat, and tears along the way I suspect. Not an easy thing to do what we do but it's done because it is necessary. Way to step up. Good luck on the new job. Will be seeing you in a few more months when I get back from this fun little trip.
