Hmm....that kinda sucks, every 3 years? But still... the hourly raise amounts to more then we get here each year so that's not too bad. It's just crappy the years you DON'T get the increase

I get 3-5% of my salary.. So every year it's more.

Yeah. I am shocked we got one this year because at the beginning of the year we were told no promotions or raises. So when my boss pulled me to the side I thought I was getting in trouble.

Talking raises...

Performance based for me, in July. Usually only 1-2%. I am at the top o my field, I'll prob only get .5% if anything.

I think if they told us no raises we might just shrug it off
I know there are other groups that actually DO get paid and get raises - for some reason we are just ignored

And of course, the "pot" to go around gets smaller every year and now we have a few new people on our team who came in making more then the rest of us - so my mamager will pamper them and give them the best %'s (which amounts to less money for the rest of us). So sometimes it does not pay to work your butt off here - no one notices...
Oh well, hopefully new job soon! Sweetjesus I hope.

Ya but it depends on what you make - 1-2% can be a lot if you already make a lot

Edit - well more then a higer percent on a lower salary I mean...
