I love the new shellac polish, lasts forever with a beautiful shine. But you cant hardly get the stuff off!
And they wont let us wear them at the hospital because they harbor bacteria under the shell.

I just got back from a mini vacation. My brother who is a command master chief for the us navy at great lakes naval base finally retired after 28 years in the service. So vacation consisted of long days that started at around 5 am. O.O' Then we get home just so my husband can inform me that 1sg has been on him to get me to volunteer for FRG Leader so my husband volunteered me. I'm now going to be the FRG Leader for 116 soldiers and there families. I'm scared shitless. I'm shy and my anxiety doesnt like speaking in front of any group(s) of people. :bangdesk:

If it's something you believe in or have passion for then you can do it - just don't think about the people watching you, think about what you are saying, what you want them to know - that stuff. I don't know what a FRG leader does but

I know how hard it is to speak in front of people. I always hated it, but right now I'm going for a job that is basically facilitating different sessions at work. It's scary - but I am really interested in the concept and I believe in what they are trying to do with these sessions so I know I can overcome the fear and rock the house

So just remember what you are trying to do for these people, or say to them, or whatever it is, and focus on that, and not on the people watching.

I like helping people and getting to help the soldiers and there families will be awesome. I have had problems speaking in front of people my whole life, as well as speaking to new people. My anxiety tends to lead into panic attacks and then into passing out. And its at it's worst when im surrounded by lots of people or lots of cars. I never know what to say to new people either. O.o' On a good note my husband made up for volunteering me by giving me an early anniversary present today. It was a new gaming keyboard that lights up and changes colors slowly. He is laughing at me becuase I was more interested in the coloring changing aspects than in the gaming aspects lol.

Actually, it works out quite well. They put crack heads into a "oooo shiny" phase. Much easier to arrest
