New Here - Future Camaro Owner!
Hey guys! The names Derek, everybody knows me as red. Im planning on purchasing a new camaro 2ssRS m6 in the coming spring. Currently got my heart set on Inferno Orange with Inferno Orange interior. I had a full bolt on, Intake/Cam 05 GTO M6. Loved the car, Thought about stepping into another goat but I know in my heart another one will just leave me wanting MY goat back and dissapointed. So im gonna step up to the LS3 and begin again and make my new baby. I was just wondering what you guys would recomend on options? I know my opinion is what matters on whats offered BUT its always nice to see someone elses perspective on these issues. The car will not be a DD and I predict full bolt ons and cam within the first year of ownership. Also wondering if anybody has had any issues with the car, minor all the way up to major issues. Also im expecting a price around 38-39k full loaded out the door with my selected options. Im not trading anything for the SS, just going to take a substantial downpayment and let it do the talking for me. If a dealer wont negotiate with the downpayment im sure another will be happy to. Just throw out your opinions, suggestions, welcomes whatever else comes to mind. Im sure a few of you guys will flame me "its gonna be your car buy what you want!" Again I just want to see some other perspectives on the issue. Cant wait to get into the SS next year and enjoy it! Be nice to be back in a muscle car.

Derek, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
