Like the thread i posted about camaro vs. challenger, insideline also thinks that the camaro will share the same automatic as the G8 and vette. The G8 has a shift style through the stick and the vette has paddle shifters if i remember correctly.

Paddle shift a possibility??
The camaro will be getting the six speed automatic gearbox in at least the v8 trim model... however, it is still an open possibility that the camaro may be getting the steering wheel mounted paddle shift
... will the six speed auto be enough to win manual drivers over? will you buy the auto if it comes with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters?? ---gm insidelane
