The best time Evan Smith (pro driver) got was 11.81?? A few hours after that he said they were packing up and leaving because there was a track event that night at road Atlanta?? So where did this 11.5 run come from?? Not saying it will not happen, but where did it come from and what is the proof??

In other news for Ford putting the Shelby in their customers hands this quick Although I've heard some owners complain that the color they ordered does not match the online listings, and some peoples orders are pushed way back. So they do have bumps in the road like we had with the ZL1.

Looks like your the fanboy here. If you dont like this thread then dont post in here. This is the GT500 vs ZL1 thread....so if you dont like the facts then leave....

i believe it. It certainly is capable of it. Just like theres no proof of the ZL1 11.9@116 run but you know both those cars are capable of it.

Sweeeeet Sir The picture with your family and the Mustangs you need to save FOREVER! This is what I love to see .... Americans who have fell back in love with American Muscle Cars!!!! This is how we use to love our cars, and its great to see it happen again ...... I don't care if its a Mopar, Ford or Chevy this is GREAT Enjoy that Mustang and keep those cars and pictures FOREVER! Ford needs to put these pics in a ad for the Mustang.

It was a poster on SVTP that has worked with (not for) SVT since the days of the Ford GT. He has been spoon feeding all of us for a while about the performance. I finally asked him what he has personally seen at SVT testing and that there is no need for secrets anymore. He agreed and posted the 11.52 @ 127 time. He also posed a powershifted time that got squirrly of 11.71 @ 129.

This time was not at the press event but during SVT R & D for the new car. Nothing official but he has been saying mid 11's @ 125+ for quite some time.

Whats with the cloak and dagger stuff from Ford and Chevy?? If these cars can hit these type of times get the INFO OUT!! I want to see American Muscle Car sales go threw the roof. I will always want the Camaro to beat the Mustang, but I am always happy to see American Iron perform. This is all too much fun, where is the government to shut this down. Next thing you know we will all have afros and be on LSD.
