We'd be screwed by not being able to play the game. This type of DRM is not the way to combat piracy.

Another reason I'm waiting on the console version. I've heard the console version won't have this.

your two choices are all or nothing. personally, i like having the battle.net features so i can chat or play with all my friends no matter what blizzard game i'm on.

The Wizard seems very powerful. Last night I partied with a lvl 33 wizard and a lvl 42 Demon Hunter. I was lvl 32 monk. I couldn't get to the mobs fast enough before they killed them in Act 1 Nightmare. Only problem is if they get hit they are screwed.

When big mobs came I got right in the middle and they just picked them off from the outside as I was killing 10+ at a time.

I'm playing a witch doctor it's pretty fun. A lot of people are saying they get very powerful 9-10k damage once you level up and everything. Only level 13 now I believe. Good times though for sure! Will definitely play with the other characters once I get my witch doctor kicking ass. Lol.

Windows7 iso is still downloading. The speed has picked up a little, but I'm still at dialup speeds. Soon as it's downlloaded, it gets installed and I can start downloading diablo III. I'll be on the game tomorrow unless this iso just stops downloading altogether.

Are the errors still running rampant?

Mostly no. They have had some downtime each day, for example, this morning from 5-7am PST, which sucked because I get up at 6, and hoped to play for an hour before work. This evening, was up all night with no issues. Last night, it had a crash late in the evening until 11pm PST.

Then there were all the login issues on the release night. Probably because everyone and their mother were trying to login at midnight, and then all in the character creation screen all at once. Now that most people are playing, seems like most of the login issues have gone away (for now).

I'm sure there'll be more issues....but it's been stable for the most part now.
