Well that's a good thing most of the time! But when you call a peer ma'am...you define yourself as an underling and that opens the door for the butt chewing you got. Treat her as an equal and you'll have no problem.

And that concludes my commentary...lol. I'm getting myself into way too much trouble around here so I'd better just go home.

I've dated a couple girls who use to work in tanning salons and in order to work in a tanning salon around here you have to go to burn school so you can help customers who get burned.

When you first get burned, take some baking soda and water and mix it to tooth paste consistency and put it on for 5-10 minutes. Depending on how bad it is, do this at least once a day for the first couple days. This will draw the "burn" out and it will heal quicker and avoid what you are going though now. Whatever you do, avoid aloe for a minimum of 24 hours after you get burned. During that time frame aloe actually has the opposite effect of what is intended, it keeps the burn in and slows down the healing process.

In your stage though, your body has begun healing. Just take a long HOT shower (as hot as you can stand it) and get your pours opened up. I wouldn't bother with the baking soda and vinegar now, these are things you should have done right after you got burnt.

Thanks man, yeah as soon as I get off work I am diving in the shower. I will probably hit 90 mph (dw mods the speed limit is 90 in my neighborhood ) . This shit is ridiculous. I need to do something.

I agree completely. I got very burned once in high school. I was blistered slightly, and my father picked me up and dropped me in the hot tub. After cursing for 10 minutes and writhing in pain, my itching and pain went away by the next day. Since then, I have used this on the very rare occasion I get burned and with my kids. It has always worked.

BTW... It sucks being of Lithuanian decent with almost ghost white skin. Just reading this thread is probably going to turn me pink.

Haha I was actually serious about the oatmeal bath. Doctors will even recommend it for a bunch of things. Oatmeal and baking soda like suggested both have properties that will reduce skin irritations. Poison ivy, rashes, chicken pox... all kinds of things
