To tell you how much you will like it, I have sold every other holster I have, and only use ones form Comp-Tac. I also have the paddle holster to use in IDPA competitions and sometimes conceal with it in the winter under vests or jackets. You should look at the the Minotaur Concealment Magazine pouch. I would highly recommend you buy one of these as well. This way you can tuck in an extra mag, and nobody will every see it. The manufacturer is about 15 miles from where I live. After shooting with the president a number of times, we talked about the concealment pouch. He developed this product, and I got to help as a guinea pig / beta tester. It is top notch. Now for the obligatory notice. I am not affiliated with them and receive no benefit from telling you just how good these are. I just believe word of mouth will help superior products take over the market from the big boys that put out crap. The MTAC is a superior product.

Easily a 9.5/10 I have had no problems with it at all after daily use for more than a year. It has left virtually no marks on my XDm the leather is still in wonderful condition it has started to "form" to me but that is to be expected. I don't have any personal experience with the Minotaur but I would suspect its built with the same quality as the Ctac. I recommend Comp-Tac to all my friends I will be buying a magazine pouch from them in the very near future (Kinda tired of throwing spare mag in my pocket). If you would like to see pictures I can throw it on real quick

Wow that is set to an extreme can't. Maybe I should try that. Do you find the back of the slide prints at all?

yeah it is pretty extreme but it is also the most comfortable and is in the most natural position when I reach back for it. Also since I am on the skinnier side of life rolling it all the way up really helps hide it better than anything else. You can see in the back picture the grip basically follows my ribcage. It doesn't print at all unless I am wearing a tighter shirt and I bend forward at the waist. Basically get used to bending over like you are a girl in a short skirt and all printing problems are solved.

I liked the appendix approach, but I wear suit's to work. I have never been able to make appendix work with a larger pistol in suit pants with a tucked in shirt. Maybe it was just me being fat.

Appendix doesn't as work well with larger guns. Having carried guns for several years, I don't like the gun on my side when in concealed mode. It gets in the way and prints too much for my taste.
I carry a G27 in a kydex inside the waistband holster. A friend of mine molded it for me. It can be used with or without a belt. If I had to wear a suit, I might look into a shoulder holster as an option. |

I actually can wear a suit with the Comp-Tac and it conceals very nicely even when you take the jacket off. You just have to wear a fuller cut shirt that is not white.
One other option is a Ruger LCP (or similar) in front pocket holster.

Yeah, I'll be carrying a full sized pistol so printing is my major concern second is comfort. So far it looks like I made a good choice. Holster shipped today.

Nice stuff.
I'm currently rocking a Springfield Amory EMP in 9MM. I have an IWB holster on the way as I have my CHP now. I really like it, beautiful little pistol but I've been considering swapping it out for something higher cap, less safeties and doodads, and typically more reliable. I had an XD9SC before and and M&P9 Pro so I think the next thing I'll try will be a Gen 4 Glock 19. Also in the collection is a Bravo Company/Spike Tactical AR15 w/ Magpul accessories, a Marlin 795 .22LR rifle for pest control, an old school Rem 870 Wingmaster w/ 18" barrel and bead sight (home defense) and a pretty Smith & Wesson Mod 60 357 revolver in stainless. I had a Springfield Amory 'Loaded' 1911 but sold it because I just didn't shoot it well. I've since concentrated on smaller and midsize 9mm pistols and 38/357 revolvers because I handle them a lot nicer. I make take some pics tomorrow.
