I just replaced my XD subcompact 40 with the 3.8 45. Better balanced firearm. I can live with the extra bulk.

I just bought a XD-40 4" & I love it. It shoots great, feels really nice in my hand. Doesn't have a ton of recoil so you can stay on target. I carry mine every day. I will be getting another one.

I carry a 3.8 9mm everywhere I go. It hides very well even under simple tshirts. I use a comp-tac holster and combined it nestles right under my ribcage and is super comfortable. I have worn it for 12+ hours on several occasions with 5 of those hours being in a car and its like it's not even there

It's not too small at all, it's about right for CC imo.

Happy Wife - Keep My Life! That is my motto.
In all seriousness, today I bought my wife another Concealed Carry gun. With summer approaching, she is wearing smaller clothes and carrying smaller purses. So to augment her other two carry guns, we just bought her A North American Arms 22 Magnum. This is her dog walking, around the pool gun. This is a remarkably well made gun and it a hoot and a half to shoot. Here is a picture of her personal carry collection. Not pictured is her Colt Police Positive MK V since it is on her now. Before you ask. YES she did ask for the big dog, and YES she does carry it! She carries it in either a shoulder rig (winter only), or in her car. It is a 460 XVR. She is a woman of extremes, as you can see by the size disparity.

Does anyone have a Minotaur MTAC holster?
I just ordered one after an entire day of researching conceal carry holsters. My original choice was a White Hat holster, but they take a longer to make and I don't think it would get to me on time. What are your opinions. |

I'm guessing no one has experience with hybrid holsters

They're half leather, half kydex. They're suppose to be comfortable and easy to conceal with light clothing. The kydex is supose to give a quicker draw as well. I'm just wondering since I ordered one and trying to see what people's personal opinions are on here. Everywhere else I read, people loved them.

I use the Ctac from them and I love it. It is super adjustable for any cant position you want and the leather makes it more flexible and I believe more body contouring thus more comfortable

You can also adjust the retaining pressure on your gun. Mine came so ridiculously tight I could barely get the gun in much less draw it. But after a few minutes tinkering with it I had it all adjusted up
