No, what I'm saying is that the thread shouldn't be closed simply because certain individuals are being trolls. There is a thread somewhere on this or some other forum that you personally find interesting. It might not matter at all to me. But that doesn't give me the right to go on there, talk about how silly it is, throw in some sarcastic off-topic remarks, and then say the thread is useless and should be shut down. If I did then we'd both be in each others shoes right now. This is the internet, but that doesn't mean that people have to be rude or insensitive.

That would mean an actual set in real life instead of crying online, like the posts he was complaining about.

No need to close it.

If OP wants to discuss observed club behavior at a show or outing, club doors are always open- club members should know better than to be doing burnouts, etc at any event (outside of drag days, etc) WheelmanSS, I would hope that you haven't passed judgement on all of us C5G members, there are indeed a large number of cool people.

I guess you were never taught if someone waves at you, it's common courtesy to wave back? Regardless of year, make, model, race, gender, sexuality, age, etc??

So much bias and hate these days!!!!

You don't need to know everything about a cars history or heritage or platform to love it just as much, if not more, than someone who does know all that.

Years and years ago the Harley crowd made the same complaints. That you could go and buy a Harley Davidson t-shirt from K-Mart and have never owned a motorcycle in your life. But still it brings revenue, attention, and appreciation to HD. And it shows support.

And BTW, a car show is about the best looking and cleanest car. So if a Camaro wins, it could be corruption...or it could be that it was indeed the best looking and cleanest car there. Just because you threw $30,000 in mods at your car doesn't mean it looks better than a bone stock car. It's not about money spent on mods, it is about the car that deserves to win.
NICELY PUT WELL SAID !

I loved my Corvette club. Granted, I was the youngest one for a while (about 43), but it sucks I can't participate in some events because I can't cruise in with a vette. Thought about buying a C3 vette just so I could participate, but I came to my senses. Don't want it setting outside, yada, yada. Hope I didn't look like what you're describing when I was enjoying the Corvette experience.

I love close minded individuals that somehow think they are more relevant to the car enthusiast because they don't put any chrome on their car. have you seriously looked at any cars from the 50s and 60 s at car cruises and shows, HELLO are all these guys idiots because they restore a car and chrome out the alternators, valve covers, hoses.... they would put you in your place in a heartbeat.

look around you people, some of us are doing the same things that have been done for years and years, we are only getting lip about it cause we have a new car and somehow people perceive since we have a new car we don't know anything. Stay home don't come out to the car shows and cruises and you won't be bothered by it and let us enjoy ourselves.

And last but not least....(3) STOP adding to the whiney a$$ crap u hate on the forum by putting up crap like THIS! Ok, I'm off my soap box now!

They have their own lame "5th gen" tshirts, and congregate in a little huddle like a high school clique. They don't make an effort to walk around the show or talk to others. .
So theres a group of people that annoy you, but want to stand by themselves in thier own little group, dont circulate and force themsleves on you, park off in thier own section.....and you are not happy that they stay out of your hair?

Poor schmuck. If he wants to hang around with the pt cruiser crowd, it's his choice but he's welcome to come be with us and let our cool rub off on him anytime!

have a nice day, OP
I wouldn't hang out with this elitist attitude either. Taking up extra space at car cruises is extremely rude. At our local cruise you'd have your chance to park properly, leave or get towed.

I've seen other post. I doubt it

Btw, congrats on the blue on white. It's the only stripe color that works on SW IMHO.
