Chevrolet GTO??? what do you guys think?

what do you guys think of making a larger camaro to fit more people and calling it a gto?

it would be a muscle car instead of a pony car

i don't think the name being on a chevy is a big deal since there have been ferrari gto's as well

and the gto name is thought of as its own brand more than anything

would love to see a concept of this in the future when gm is in better shape

since i know we won't be getting a trans am in the near future...why not expand the camaro chasis to a different market

I think it's a bad idea, GTO has a loyal following and should be respected as such...If anything just bring back the chevelle line..there were 4-door and 2-door chevelles atleast.

If GM wanted to make a larger muscle car under the Chevy flag, the should call it a Chevelle, IMO. GTO is reserved for Pontiac use only and it wouldn't cross over well. But IF this happens, GM needs to not make the mistake of putting 4 doors on it like the Dodge did with the Charger.

I think maybe chevelle, Nova etc etc but then again you have to hope the govt will allow it

not a bad idea either

but i'm not saying the gto should be some rinky dink car either it would look great with more room and good power...

but chevelle would probably be a better fit

i did like your idea..my main point is how good an idea is off shooting the camaro into a bigger car and how cool it could look and which past muscle car would fit the bill

price wise should it be more expensive since its bigger?

but then again if somebody wants a bigger car with more room they can always get a cadillac cts...

well price wise it all depends on how much bigger if it stays the same basic size and just gets restyled then not dramatically more expensive. If it moves up in size then yes.

i remember a few years ago there was a bell air concpet as well... i would love to see some photoshop guys whip up some stuff

wouldn't a bell air be the perfect electric vehicle of the future??
