Dear individual who camped in the fast lane on my lunch break...

On my way to lunch anticipating a bacon cheese burger, crispy steak fries and BBQ sauce to add to the already great fresh potato flavor. With a ice cold sweet tea, which is like crack for me since I moved to the south 4 years ago.

Waiting at the red light to enter the on-ramp, the light turns green and our highway bound turning lane convoy start to make our way towards the high-way.

Once up to speed I get behind a new Lexus GS F-Sport to be my buddy until I exit. Very nice looking car... with a Toyota Camry behind me.

Our trio continues until we decide to pass a Semi. The Lexus signals and moves over as so do the Camry and I.

Low and behold... There is a vehicle pacing with the Semi with a frustrated Dodge Ram with flickering brake lights indicating the driver speeding up and slowing down to notify the vehicle ahead to GTFO.

We continue behind the Ram and the camper for about 2 miles until I say screw it and move back over.

Then the Lexus does the same. As does the Camry.

We continue on for about 15 minutes until the Lexus exits... A few more miles and I exit.

Usually when I get to my BBQ joint of choice I'm early and beat the drive-thru line that wraps around to the entrance indicitive of the lunch rush.

Not today. I joined the rush violently chewing my 5ive gum for another 15 minutes until the gums flavor is replaced with the sensation of my anticipated bacon cheese burger, steak fries with BBQ sauce and my beloved sweet tea.

Camper of the passing lane: Please stick to surface streets.

/Rant/You made me rush back to work and made my fries cold.

Ahhhh for the German Autobahn laws. If you are in the left lane you are required to yield to faster traffic. If you get hit in the rear by a 160mph German road rocket its YOUR fault. Let me pull out the the Silverado, hot rod the motor and put huge Dagmars on the front and push the B@@@@@D's out of the way

I can't understand why some people don't just stay in the FORD lane where they belong!
My dad taught me "if you're gonna pass someone, get your ass out there and pass them." That's what PASSING gear is for.

My boss said she will buy me lunch tomorrow to prevent this from happening and ruining my Friday.

I feel your pain....nothing worse than getting trapped by the "rolling roadblock".
