Good morning gang. I'm up & having my morning coffee then off to get Ruby's new shoes! Sounds like a few of us have exciting things going on with out Camaros. Have a good day all.

Don't forget a pic of the new shoes....
I didn't consider my cat scratch experience exciting Well, I take that back - I was pretty excited to have it repaired at no charge!

WCOFF

June WCOFF "ride around the lake" route suggestion........
If your itinerary includes a cruise around Lake Tahoe, I would suggest that you head towards the west side of the lake from your place of lodging in south shore and continue on up Mt. Rose hwy from the north shore turn off. There is an awesome vista point half way towards the summit (see pic) where most tourist usually stop off to take in the view. Great place to line the cars up for a photo shoot. Many car/motorcycle clubs then continue on up and over Mt. Rose hwy down into south Reno and then head up Geiger Grade into Virginia City. From VC the route is down into Carson City and up hwy 50 and back towards South Lake Tahoe, making it a full day of sight seeing and cruising fun.
There are many other scenic routes to consider, but I know most of you will be saddle sore from long journeys just getting here and would rather chill out and visit rather than pound more pavement.

Friday Morning Happy Dance

It's Friday It's Friday it's Friday

Good morning All. Sorry for being late.

Twisty, Jimbo and Vince, those are some great pics!

I'm sure we'll be taking a "cruise" around the lake. Can you guys recommend a car wash around the South Lake Tahoe area? I think everyone is going to want to wash/clean their cars after rolling in.

Vince, enjoy wrenching, Jimbo, enjoy hiking, and Twisty, safe hauling.

For everyone's Friday morning listening pleasure, some vintage, mid-century Ted Nugent with the Am Boy Dukes. See Sweaty Teddy drum at 2:34. Have a great day all!

There is a coin op (wash your own) car wash close to where you guys are staying. The only other auto washes I know of are in Carson or Reno...

Edgin Coin-OP Car Wash

2281 Lake Tahoe Blvd
South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Thanks Jo. With as much joy as friends, family and having fun with my car brings, I smile a lot. A smile is one of those invaluable things, and it's free!
