A soldier looking for a helping hand

I know this isn't so professional but looking for any info for places to start my career any information is helpful, 22 year old infantry team leader about to get out looking for a good job. Currently no college i will be starting as soon as i can. graduated high school great management skills along with time management I have constructed many classes for over 100 soldiers dedicated hard worker and I have the ability to make difficult decisions under pressure I was a team leader supervised 5 soldiers. I am motivated and ready for a new career. Thought I would start with asking here.

What type of industry are you looking to get into? Also, are you looking to stay in Houston or move elsewhere?

To be honest I'm open for just about anything though I am married I would like to be able to go home after work and not be gone for long periods of time...and I would be more then happy to move

Good luck soldier. I'm in transition myself. 22 years retiring from the Marine Corps. Job market's tough, but lots of companies like to give military vets a chance. A bit of advice, it's a lot of "who you know" not "what you know". Nothing wrong with seeking help from 58,000 of your closest friends here. Hopefully you'll find something, and continue college with the Post 9/11 GI Bill. That's a great supplement, if your new employer is understanding with work time. Check www.usajobs.gov I'm sure you can find something. Good luck bro!
