Everytime I hear this arguement, I get a visual of a group of young male mountain gorillas and a narrator with a british accent giving a play by play of the action....

Get the car that fits YOU and is something that YOU will enjoy, wether on the track or street. Someone will always have something faster than you so just relax and make the most of whatever car you want..

I was really really close to ordering a ZL1 but after doing a little bit more research came to realize that most of the features I could never really ultilize in the real world. Mind you, it is a gorgious Camaro but for me I would just be wasting another 20K when the SS has everything I need and then some....

After watching and reading a lot about the mustang vs camaro ( you gotta be s****ng me, I grew up with a motorist father, he loved his chevys and his fords), I'm seriously happy that both companies have decided to pull out some stops....not all. Did you see that intake? I can tell these babies are taking the "japanese gentleman's agreement" and lying about HP right off the bat. If you make a 650 HP engine and have to "detune" it by adding restrictive engine breathing measures, then you're just BS'ing.

I'm kinda confused as to why Ford went back to the live-axle rear end after adopting the IRS AFTER dumping the F-body. Backpeddaling is always a bitch but this video doesn't represent ideal conditions.

Laguna Seca edition is a beauty and performs beautifully but they should've paired this against the 1LE to be fair, so yea the tuner boys are what pushed this.

added: yes the 1LE with track inspired suspension ( whoa ...gotta remember the stock SS 2009 camaro smoked the 350z at Nurburing by a whole whopping 20 freaking seconds ) with the track inspired Laguna Seca would've been a fair match in my opinion.

I think he meant it like this:

Comparing a ZR1 (Corvette) to a Boss) (Mustang) is like comparing a Ferrari (Super Car) to a Camaro (Not a Super Car)

Just a mixup in the way the words were placed, either way both comparisons are beyond retarded....

Yes I made a mistake actually, I meant to list the 2013 track model Camaro not the Vette....big oops on my part.

Added: 1LE ? I think that's the right badge, shit let me edit my other posts....

Think it was tough reading it when it was messed up, it was even more confusing when I read the first post, and while I didn't agree, it at least made sense, then he got jumped lol

I was like, "canibals!"

So the real question is this.

Will Ford be able to put DRs on the 2013 GT500 and run it at the track and claim it as a stock time?

No. Stock means down to the tire. The second you put DRs on it, it's no longer stock.

From what I can tell, there are certain people here you're not allowed to disagree with, and I'm not talking the mods either. I haven't figured out who those people are until after after the fact, however.
