Good afternoon all! Whew......sure glad it's hump day!!
Casper is lovin' his new Borla axle back exhaust I had installed Monday, nice deep and mellow sound at idle and reminds me of days of old when you put your foot into it.
Just finished washing Casper in anticipation of hooking up with Vince and other camaro enthusiasts Friday evening over at Summit Racing in Sparks/Reno for the first Friday night cruise of the season. We're hoping to meet new friends and maybe add members to Vince's Northern Nevada Modern Muscle Car site. WOOT-WOOT!!

Well - Guess I Qualify As "Old Fart" - I Bought The First 1963 Chevrolet "409" To Come Off The St.Louis Assembly Line. Was 20 Years Old At The Time. Here Today Still A "Gearhead" And Wondering If I'll Ever Grow Old. New Ride Is 6 Speed Manual And A Blast To Drive. The 20 Year Old Lives On, Cars Are Faster Today

I have fond memories of when I was in high school seeing a brand new '62 409 down at the local dealership. Just so happened my best friend's dad was the general manager and took us for a short test ride. I was in seventh heaven!

lieb = love, sweet
frau = woman
milch= milk

I don't really speak the language but when you grow up in a community of people who are all of German Descent, myself included, the stuff that's all around all the time just sinks in.
