Hey folks anyone notice it also list Chevrolet Captiva? This is an export Equinox. Don't get your pantys in a bunch, but maybe just maybe OnStar documentation isnt 100% accurate. Or you are looking at a export sheet? After all some Buicks are badged as Chevrolets in some countries.

Simple rebadge? None
But every buick in the US either has, or will have a Chevy that shares the same platform. Verano/Cruze Regal/Next gen Malibu LaCrosse/Next gen Impla Enclave/Traverse upcoming Encore/Sonic

Looking at fenwicks sig, I think they should kill the buick name. Hell they have cadillac
Personally GMC should be the truck line, caddy the high end line, and chevy there standard fleet. Trim the fat and build better vehicles. It is not like the want to build vehicles here in the states any how. What vehicles do they still build stateside?

From what I've read the US Caprice PPV is based on the Holden Caprice which is a longer wheelbase version of the Commodore. Since I was referring to the PPV's I used "Caprice". Is that not correct for the PPV's?

HEY GM!!! Build a 400+ hp sedan with aggressive styling in the $35,000-$40,000 range and I will commit to there being one in Apex Chase's garage. If you guys are going to be so bold as to call the car "SS" you better make sure it lives up to it though. Just let me know who to make the deposit check out to.

Other than the volt, nothing on this list looks new at all.
The name plates are new, but the designs are old or the same as every one else in each segment. Even the volt is a shadow of its concept version. No one, when seeing either of these cars for the first time is thinking, wow what was that. Last time that happened was the new camaro and even that is based on old design.

Buick lived because it sells huge units overseas and especially in China. GM could not afford to kill the Buick nameplate with these kind of numbers. We at home would have preferred Pontiac to live, but business is business.
I think there will be renamed version of the Caprice police car and it will just be SS. If the new Impala was not already done, it could have been the Impala SS, but I find that highly unlikely given the release of the new Impala. As mentioned before, the GTO well a good car was not a huge hit. I do not think GM will dig up the Chevellle name again to do the same as it did on the GTO. Maybe they will bring back the Lumina nameplate for NASCAR.
