I can't believe that the ZR1 and the GT500 are being compare again. Two different animals with different price tags. The ZR1 will win on the strip or the track.

You know what would be fun?? And no, I'm not trying start a war, I'm just saying it would create another great rivalry...
It would be fun if Ford dusted-off the old Ford GT tooling, and plopped the new 5.8 into it, say with improved intake and free-er flowing exhaust tuned to 700hp even.. Now THEN you'd have a comparison between two REAL sports cars, and maybe Chevy would step up the power a bit on the ZR to do battle... |

That would be neat, but as a Ford fan, I'm happy letting GMs ZR1 fight the European supercars.
I couldn't ever afford one anyways, so I'm not really too worried that Ford doesn't make a competitor. So, go ZR1 (and soon again) SRT Viper that'll be fun, no doubt, go tag team the GT-R and come back smiling |
