Exactly!! I believe the Z07/Carbon package puts the C6Z at or over 100k. Its basically a ZR1 with a LS7. Def not fair to compare.

back on topic... Does anyone know what 662hp would equate to in RWHP? Im not sure how much drivetrain loss there is but i know it's less than the Z because of the SRA.

Anyone?

563-583 RWHP depending upon whether drivetrain losses are 12 or 15%.

Me thinks that all this talk about being a 70hp difference is gonna end up being more like a 100+hp difference when these things start hitting the dyno's. Especially with the over-rev feature.

manual zl1's are dynoing around 525 rwhp. that would mean the gt 500 would have to come in around 625 rwhp. prob not going to happen.

Haters gon hate... Oh and i wouldnt call a 4 seat,SRA, 3800lb Mustang a sports car, but i totally understand why guys like you are. Cause u know the ZL1 doesnt compare to the Shelby. Lmao

Thats just sad. Everyone knows its always been Camaro vs Mustang. Now the mustang is soo much better than the Camaro performance wise that the Chevy swingers are comparing it to the Corvette. Ford should take this as the ultimate compliment.

525 rwhp, really? How does a 580 hp car dyno 525 rwhp? That's not much drivetrain loss at all especially being an IRS car...

Happy dyno maybe...

If the manual Z only loses 55 hp than can we assume that the Shelby will only lose about 30 hp and dyno at 632 rwhp lol...

I thought i saw a bunch of 460 rwhp dyno pulls with the Z?

You would expect the 560rwhp range. I think upper end will be high 580s.
