So they are not in trouble then. Suburban has never ended production so I dont think GM would ever axe it. Tahoe on the other hand I could see going away if needed.

i just wish they'd design some rear wheel wells for it. one of the things i hate about the GM and Ford full size trucks is that unfinished look around the rear tires, and being able to see all the way through the truck between the bed/frame.

4.3 isn't so bad, but yeah it's past it's prime. but i wonder if the 3.6 is kind of complex and expensive for a base truck engine.

But when you make about a million per year, the per-unit cost comes down pretty good, even for a high tech engine
