They are very scratched up on those areas. Hence the black vinyl.

Have you had a quote to get them fixed? There are some really good wheel repair shops out there.

Honestly, I like the square tips on the first gen Sonoma/S-10. It makes sense with the boxy style of those trucks/SUV's.

The Camaro wheels on the Syclone look good! Your truck looks like it's in great shape for its age. I wish I still had my '86 S-10 Blazer...

Thank you. I may get the wheels repaired once the black vinyl wears off. I hate round exhaust tips & wanted something that to flow under the roll pan. If I had someone awesome around here I'd have them come out through the roll pan. The original exhaust came out on the passenger side & looked funny.

Rims looked great prior to the vinyl.I bet if these rims weren't stock and were instead aftermarkets for the Camaro ,we would be buying them like crazy.

I'll probably end up buying 2 new rims 1 at a time & replace the scratched up ones. Here are pics from car show yesterday:

I agree to lose the vinyl. Looked better before.

And why the blurred liccense plate? Do you drive with it covered it up to? LOL

No spacers at all BUT the hub diameter of the wheel is smaller than the Syclone. 2.59" vs 2.77" I grinded the inside of the rims to fit.

It's blurred because anyone on an open forum can look up the plate#, find my address & steal my truck. A few months, 6 Buick Regal Grand Nationals were stolen from a meet back east, including the tow rigs & trailers. Someday the value of these truck may be up as high as the GNs. Owning & maintaining these trucks is a PITA to say the least

I'd be willing to bet most auto thieves are just opportunists. I doubt they actively search open car forums for people who don't blur their license plates in photos. I also highly doubt that if they did, that they would be willing to sign up for a service that can do all the background checks to find out where that person lives based on a license plate number.

I'm willing to bet more thieves will see your car at the car show than any will online. If you're that paranoid about it, you should probably remove your license plates while it's in the car show and maybe even put something on your dashboard to cover up your VIN number while you're at it...

That sucks about the GN's though. But again, there's no proof to suggest these were all stolen based on information acquired online, or if the thieves were just opportunists that knew a car show was coming into town. Heck, they might not have even known what was in those car trailers. They probably just saw some expensive towing setups and knew there had to be something of value inside.

You never know
