Honestly...is that it...I took all that time being clever and looking stuff up to lighten the mood around here and that is all you are going respond with is more questions...man.

Some kids I swear.

But to answer your question, read any review of that Mustang including the GT-500 and you will see that the suffers from un planned jumps when loading the suspension in corners, awkwardness to repetitive switches in direction and suffers deeply from the lack of a panhard bar to settle the rear when making transitions.

About the 4.6 3 valve motor...it is garbage, it was garbage when it was a 2 valve SOHC and it will continue to be garbage until they scrap it. The motor is weak, it is in no way efficient and to anyone that says they can get 30 miles to a gallon in a mustang GT I am calling you a liar. That being said the LS motors are documented over and over again getting better than 28 mpg in almost every trim level.

And to be honest any vehicle that runs an overhead cam or overhead valve motor vs. a pnematic system is behind the times compared to the new tech. What limits us in our muscle cars is what is affordable at the time. GM's LS3 hell their LS series of motors have been developed over the past 15 years with racing design as the influence and with every generation they make more and more power and still manage to beat the gas guzzler tax with exception to the LSA/9.

you still wont accept that a mustang handles fine around a track and gets good mpg will you? u know what we call people who cant accept realities about other cars right? can you let other cars into your little world now?

facts:
the mustang handles great on the track
the mustang gets great mpg for what it is i get 27mpg all day
300HP is plenty for me, and most other people, i'm not a hardcore drag racer.
pushrod technology is infact OLD, the 4.6 v8 is a great reliable/efficient motor and loves mods.

those are FACTS. can you accept any of them?

Who was it that won that little comparison you poster earlier?

Facts: Just because you say so doesn't make them so.

http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/sbs.htm

According to the "facts" your car gets worse fuel economy as a 7 liter Z06 on it's best day.

That being said, being an owner of a Mustang myself I have to inform you that you can count on the Corvette getting better fuel economy, however you can bet that the POS sickly 3 valve on getting much...much worse.

When ford steps up and puts their 5 liter direct injection in, then maybe the GT will be worth a look until then it is a waste of time.

A comment on the old 4.6 motor you had better be joking when you say that. A clarification as to which 4.6 is needed. Yes the 4.6 DOHC Terminator motor did wake up with mods are you comparing that motor or are you talking about the same years 2 valves that consistantly dyno'ed 215 rwhp on Dyno jets.

Here is another fact, I actually praised the car in my first post if you will refer back to it. If anyone is drinking the Koolaid it is you, I have owned/driven many difernent cars not the least of which was your beloved GT-500.

The facts are that the Mustang is behind the times and no manor of putting sticky ass tires on it from the factory changes the fact that when you go to a GT class race you will not see a single car out there with a SRA and if you do it will undoubtedly be a mustang tagging up the rear.

If you love your car, I happy for ya,...hell good on ya. Honestly at your age to have a car that nice is a damn blessing. I wish I could have been so lucky, but I came up the hard way and bought and built all of my cars starting with...you guessed it Mustangs, and guess what I just cancelled my order for a GT-500 mustang.
