Thats the other reason. Smoothness reduces drag, diffusers help with downforce. Less drag makes you go faster, more downforce lets you stay going fast

There is absolutely no room in that engine bay. I'd like to see it with the beauty cover off. I would definitely own one if I was in Aussie Land, mate…

I can see that hitting the roads (not necessarily as a GTO though) without the wheels, kit and seats - but with rear exit exhausts, and a B pillar!

I'd hit it - hell, I have a Monaro and that's the next one :p

^Nah...maybe a limitied edition or something from a specific dealer. But, no...not for regular production.

Now, I'd love to see what that could do on Top Gear!

Had a great time... I really want to go back.

This Zeta thing is pretty cool. I'm diggin it.

Is there any chances that this coupe would become a reality, because I'm sorry but I'd take this potential production car....It looks amazing..the taillights are ...wow....Still probably not as nice as the Camaro's though...

I had another idea, I don't know how the purists would handle it, but they could call it the G8 GTO...you know sorta like the 6.0L is the G8 GT

nope it was mounted in the front in place of the inline 4. there was a 2 part article about its construction in Hot Rod magazine. other than some minor mods to the engine bay and some things removed to save weight (they drilled holes in the bracket that held the washer fluid bottle to save weight ). it was basically un-altered dimension wise.

here is a shot of it with all the body panels removed
