Interesting End to the Evening...
Our first ice cream social at DQ on University, here in Waterloo, Iowa, was fun. Yeah, we're real party animals. :-)
The owner said to let her know when we'll be doing such get togethers and we can make a sign for reserved parking and she'll put it up for us. The night had an interesting end after all our cruising. The Po-po pulled me over for driving without my headlights(automatic headlights failed to come on due to the brightness of the parking lot and UNI Dome lights). Who would of thought there were laws for headlights after dark in Iowa? LOL The officer was pretty cool about it cuz he said he saw that there were 3 of us cruising around. He complimented me on the lighting mods I have on Trigger Happy and how cool the car looked with them. We sat there for about 10 minutes talking Camaros, Jason's loud exhaust, and how cool our cars looked at night. Told me to have fun, stay out of trouble, then laughed, and let me go. Two thumbs up to the officer for not being a d**k!!! |

First off, nice Camaros, all three of them!
Great to hear of "down to earth" officers. It's refreshing to hear of good encounters with the people that protect citizens on a daily basis. Too many times, the good encounters get left untold. Which makes the bad encounters seem more common. Thanks for sharing that with us.
