Oh yeah, they definitely have a good amount of control.

However, I don't think you can say 100% that he wasn't asked to step down. Probably 99% of the time the CEO steps down is because they are asked by the board. Maybe that didn't happen this time but we really don't know. I also can assure you he doesn't have the power alone to select the new CEO. The board would have to approve, which wouldn't be hard because Mullaly's credentials are outstanding.

NOTE: No matter what it was obviously a great decision and I'm sure it helped Ford to be in the position it is in today.

Was it the hugger blue one? I don't know why but it did NOTHING for me in that hugger blue colour. Honest to God, I didn't care about the Mustang's styling when I saw it at the auto show, then I saw them on the way to work. The dark colour's look really great and make the car look much nicer.

Grabber. I knew it was some kind of touching action!

It's really odd and I don't know how a colour can make a car look "meh" to me. I saw it and looked at it and didn't really care about it. I didn't find it ugly but I didn't find it all that great.

I then saw it on the way to work in dark colours and they looked really nice. I don't know if the V8 and V6 look different and maybe that influenced it but the ones I see on the way to work are really nice.
