My alma mater is offering new specialty plates, and I'm thinking of getting them, but can't decide if I should get them personalized as well... L4DYBUG is available through the DOL. I think the red would look really good!! Plus, of the extra $30 in fees, $28 goes to scholarships...

I saw Springsteen over the wkn. in New York. You would never know he is 63 yrs old now, awesome concert. He had 2 little girls up on the stage with him, one singing and one dancing. He gave his harmonica to one of them later on too. He did his run across the stage and slid about 20 ft. into the crowd. They hoisted him up in the air and he did the mosh pit thing, they carried him all around the arena then back on stage.
He even came down in the crowd and walked around singing, defiantly have to see him again. Wife and I went to Niagara Falls also, that was a nice day.

Wow! I can't believe I forgot this. Happy Anniversary to Us. Ruby came home 2 years ago. Wow! How time flys when you are having fun! My dealership had to remind me.
Happy Anniversary!

Kudos to your daughter for doing the right thing.

The "hittee" is just looking out for herself in the event there more damage than meets the eye. Her remark about "she doesn't want to complicate things" is actually "she doesn't want to complicate things for herself."

Don't know if an insurance company can "make" customers file a claim, but once she called them, her conversation was recorded, she was already "on record." Another aspect of technology. Just sayin'.

I did not think so but
Thanks for the input.
Yeah Thats what we all pay insurance for let them handle it. Feel bad we don't want the woman to be put out of the way at all and want her car fixed asap. However she still has to go out of her way to get an estimate, fix car etc. Feels much better getting a call from daughter that there were no injuries, took pictures, left note going to handle it etc. Better than getting a call from the police anyday.

LBM imho your new plate will great with a constrasting/complimenting frame. You all have fun in the Sand. Have a good morning.

Go For It! This is first time I've had personalized plates and since I'm modding the rest of the car to my taste, why not the plates?

Besides, that $30 fee is probably the least expensive mod you'll make all year.

Cool. Sounds like you had a great time! It's been about 10 years since I saw him perform during The Rising Tour. Always good to hear about Classic Rockers who can still kick butt!

Happy Tax Day All!

happy as it's gonna get....

And most of it is for a good cause and tax deductible! Gonna do it... renewal time is June, I can have the plates by then if I order now

If I'm not mistaken it looks like she's out on Utah's "west desert". But you are too late Gary.... I already rescued the damsel in distress.

Well, you just know....

My story: We lost our Madeline after 8 years with us (she was 10) to a large tumor in her lungs. She was at my side the whole time I was recovering from PC surgery; she lived 2 years after that. My "man card" was revoked on the spot for the tears shed over that. I vowed never to get another as I couldn't handle a loss like that again... 1.5 months later, wife and daughter convinced me otherwise when they found 2 year old Suzie. All went well for almost 2 years (she had a lot of throwing up days) then she had to go due to stomach cancer; "man card" had to be suspended again. Yes, 1.5 months later a trip to the shelter resulted in getting 9 month old Cinder. All was well until 3 months later she became ill with FIP. No hope for recovery; just turned in my "man card" permanently at that point... I never had a pet until I was 50 and never thought I'd get so attached to an animal!! Well, you guessed it 1 month later here's Holly. 2 years now, "man card" back in my possession, and all is going well. So, go for it and good luck!!!!

When that special little monsta walks by and leaves paw prints on your heart, you'll know that he or she (or THEM!!!) is the one!

Dude, they didn't take away or suspend your man card. Real men love and they hurt when something happens to something they love. Your man card was intact, the angels were just adding to it.
