That is bad ass. I love it. I know I could sell her on it too.

Not a one. (Knock on wood) She likes the cruze and it's actually quite roomy etc for how small it is. Fit and finish is good, and the price is somewhat reasonable. It actually moves fairly well with the 1.4t too. Think she is at 35mpg average or something.

89 octane gas is the same price as 87 here and that seems to make it run better.

The funny thing is, she could drive anything she wanted up to around 40-50k and she picked that. I'm not complaining!

That is great to hear. I said she could have any car around 25K. She first said she liked the Ford Fiesta, but I continued to shop around. I would like to get another Chevy.

I would love that.... but she does not like the Camaro to drive. It's too big for her. Plus we need a hatch to haul our pugs.

I know you said you wanted a Chevy, but have you considered the 12 Focus Hatch? there are some awesome deals to be had right now and you can get the manual with sport package on the SE and with the 17 inch painted wheels that are available, it looks pretty baddarse.

I have considered both the Focus and Fiesta hatch. Nice looking little cars. Plus on top of the factory incentives, I can get great deals through the military over seas program. In the end it will come down to what she wants. I already got my car.

My wife has the Cruze LTZ. That 1.4T is peppy!! I've been kicking around getting a Sonic LTZ myself.

The 3 ould be another good choice. they have the new skyactive 2.0 now, 155 HP i believe and 38 MPG hwy in the manual Hatch.

Oh, and I love pugs, had a hyper little bugger and had to give him away when we moved :(. Just glad my parents agreed to keep my Beagles for me.

I did not realize the Cruze came in a hatch. Very nice looking and more roomy than a Sonic. I like it. I have been watching that Sonic thread. That is awesome.

I got a speeding ticket in a friends Mazda 3 back in the day. I know how they handle. With all the hatches out there, she would never drive a "wagon"

I like the sound of that. 155HP I will have to look into it.

My wife loves pugs and had to leave hers in the states to come be with me in Japan. She is in a good home and will stay there, even when we return.
