My 2007 civic SI + Paint Flaw = Lemon law!?
I just posted this on 8thcivic.com
I hope you guys get an enjoyment out of my current frustration and see if you guys would be doing the same thing I am. Okay guys. Many asked why am I selling my turbo and everything else. The following pictures will describe my paint problems. EACH blue painters line represents one blemish under the paint. It could be a run in the paint, garbage under the clearcoat, or even over spray. The neighbor hood kids counted each line and came up to 141 ALL over the car. Every panel except the plastic and the trunk. Odd eh? ![]() ## ![]() ## ![]() ## ![]() ## ![]() ## ![]() I have an appointment tomorrow morning at 0800 with the Hodna district manager. I am leaving the painters tape on there in hopes it doesn't rain on my travel to Bale Honda. My question is... Am I being to anal about my paint job? I have inspected other SI's in the neighborhood and I have NOT found any paint problems with their cars. Hell, I even washed another Habi SI to see if I could find any and I couldn't. 70 days in the shop... Would you be doing the same as me? |

You know. I NEVER thought of that... Definatly an idea... every car I have seen has not been this much of a headache.
I'll admit, I've been young and dumb... This is my 6th new car in 7 years... This is the first one to give me any headache... AND it's a Honda. |

It does. I'm very annoyed at myself for getting so upside down.

these pictures really dont show a flaw thats the only problem. At this point its difficult for anyone to really say if you have any sort of fighting chance at all.
get some close ups of one of the flaws just so we all know what we are looking at. that said my guess is they will just try and say you took delivery or something like that and now there is no way to prove its actually something wrong with the car and not something you did |
