Finally...

Finally.. I did it. I traded in my 2010 Victory Red Camaro 1LT/RS..and I stepped it up and had to join in on the forums.

I'm new as hell to these forums..don't really know how this stuff works but I'm gonna dive in and swim

My newest baby is a 2011 2SS/RS..Inferno Orange..with the fully loaded inferno orange interior trim. Needless to say..I love it. I've only had it 2 full days..and only driven it maybe 20 miles tops :( but..I have a long time I love my car..and love it I will

Any ideas on good bolt ons to bring out the inner beast and add some hp/tq gains?

Thanks guys!

Welcome, you picked an awesome color and interior, as for mods, go with long tube headers, an exhaust of your choice, cai, and a tune, I have the Jannetty Racing Street Package and I love it.

Thanks bud. I appreciate it. Im going t go with tr borla atak exhaust I think..I'm undecided on axle back or catback though. I'm thinking cat to add that little push..and good cai recommendations? I hear a lot about vararam..

Sweet! I have the Borla ATAK cat back on mine. Topped it off with American Racing 1 7/8" long tubes = obnoxious loudness (when needed).

As for air intakes, I went with CAI, Inc., but there are other good ones out there.

Cold Air Inductions makes a mighty fine CAI recommended by one of the better racing shops supporting C5. Vararam is also good and since you have a 2011, it will fit...not so for the 2012s. Nice car....enjoy it! I have used the SLP axleback which has a very deep throaty sound to it. Corsa are also great, but a little on the pricey side. Along with headers and HF cats, you'll love the sound and the performance gains. Waiting to reinstall exhaust system on my newly acquired 2012...took them off my 2010.

I hear a lot of good bout the borlas..I was thinking bbk long tubes with hi-flo cats, because I live in the shitty state of Illinois and we have those blasted emissions to worry about. But I've heard plenty good about cai also..I may end up with going with one by rotofab..I'm still unsure..besides, I need the $$ first lol

InfernoSS88, CONGRATS on the new ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
