Hmm ... my first car was a 70 Chevelle 307 for $500 from, seriously, an old lady. That's all she was going to get for it in trade-in. I crashing it into a tree right before my Senior year driving to work.

I missed this one. Sorry, just a different generation I guess. I think they should have stayed in the 68-69 look longer. The 4th Gens really killed me. I liked the firebirds and TAs tho.
